About

I am a Registered Social Worker with a decade of experience working with diverse individuals, youth, and families of all ages and backgrounds in the field of mental health. Feeling safe, supported heard, and understood is so important in therapy. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and I aim to provide a safe, client-centered, and non-judgmental space for you to express yourself and feel empowered. Part of our work together can involve human connection, vulnerability, self-compassion, and empathy, all of which are ingredients to the recipe for healing and growth.

My practice encompasses a holistic, anti-oppressive, anti-racist, strength-based, trauma informed, and evidence-based framework. I incorporate a range of approaches that include a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques.

Life can feel lonely and scary but it doesn’t have to be. A wellness journey oftentimes begins with one step. I’m so proud of you for taking this next path towards your well-being.
