Bio: Prabhsimar Kaur (Simar) is an intern counsellor currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, offering a warm, thoughtful, and compassionate presence in the therapy space under clinical supervision. With over six years of experience as a behaviour interventionist, she brings deep patience, empathy, and clinical skill to her work with individuals on the autism spectrum and the families who support them. Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practice, drawing on behavioural, cognitive, and relational interventions to support emotional regulation, insight, resilience, and meaningful change. Shaped by her lived experiences navigating culture and identity, Simar creates a safe and affirming space where individuals can explore their inner experiences, relationships, and life transitions. She believes healing happens through connection and collaboration, and works at a pace that feels grounding, supportive, and empowering.
